Retrofit – modernize instead of rebuilding

ASIS shows how operators of existing paint and powder coating systems can use retrofits to specifically increase productivity, energy efficiency, availability, and safety—from PLC/software upgrades to sensor technology and visualization to automation and digital networking. Supported by digital pre-acceptance tests, 3D scans, and simulation, this results in transparent data flows, fast commissioning, and long-term process reliability.

Retrofitting extends the service life of existing technology, reduces resource consumption compared to new systems, and creates the basis for data-based optimization and modern maintenance and analysis concepts.

Partial coating – automated, precise, and without manual labor

ASIS presents a fully automated solution for partial powder coating that completely replaces manual work steps. The system includes automated plug removal, flexible masking techniques, robot-based coating, and targeted powder extraction—all designed for reproducible quality, short cycle times, and high material efficiency.

Reusable masks, chemical-free cleaning, and powder recovery save resources and operating costs. In addition, automated unmasking and laser-based cleaning ensure sharp-edged results even with complex contours.

Virtual factory – digital planning for maximum safety

With its Virtual Factory, ASIS offers a comprehensive digital planning package – from accessibility and cycle time studies to robot simulation and offline programming to complete virtual commissioning.
Precise 3D scans, realistic simulations, and digitally generated robot programs allow systems to be tested, optimized, and validated before the first real-world installation. The advantages: maximum planning quality, shorter commissioning times, reduced risks, and an accurate forecast of future throughputs. The digital factory is thus a central component for economical, sustainable, and future-proof plant projects.

Interactive workshop – Challenge & Expert dialogue

One highlight of the trade fair is the ASIS workshop, which takes the form of a compact skill challenge. Visitors can carry out typical assembly steps themselves and experience how modular and maintenance-friendly ASIS solutions are. The question is: Who will be the winner of the day and “Hero of Application”? Every participant wins, and the fastest person of the day also receives a daily grand prize. At the same time, the workshop offers an opportunity for direct exchange with ASIS specialists—ideal for practical dialogue and technical insights.
