Material supply for TEK from a single source
At the BMW plant in Leipzig, a completely new plastics painting plant was built as part of the highly innovative “Project I”. Among other things, the company ASIS was commissioned with the complete material supply. On more than 500m², 30 supply stations for filler, base coat, clear coat as well as hardener and solvent were installed in two color mixing rooms. An orbitally welded ring piping system supplies the individual booths with the required media. The equipment of the two paint mixing rooms, from the overhead crane to the agitator cleaning equipment and the forklift truck, makes the complete package complete. The complete mechanics, electrics and software were handled by ASIS, from planning through installation and commissioning to completion.
The ASIS team was able to deliver the following complete package based on its many years of experience in surface technology:
- Electrical planning of all relevant plant components
- Engineering of the material supply and the ring line system
- Electrical and mechanical installation
- Commissioning of all tank station and cleaning systems
- Training of plant operators and maintenance personnel
