Reproducible pneumatic coating on a laboratory scale

The GunPainter is “the little brother” of the LabPainter and complements the common practice among paint and component manufacturers of testing paint batches by manual application in a spray booth.

The GunPainter has up to three pneumatic atomizers that can be operated with different paint supplies (flow cup, gear pump, volumetric dispenser). With its two servo motor axes, different movements can be executed, such as conventional rectangles, but also wedges, double wedges, static or dynamic spray patterns, and sawtooth applications. As with the LabPainter, the individual application types can be combined into a painting program via simple graphic programming.

The application of water-based and solvent-based paints is easily possible with the GunPainter. For rinsing, the GunPainter has two different rinsing media containers, into which media matched to the paints used can be filled.

The GunPainter is operated via a graphic visualization on a touch display. Different users can log in, depending on the authorization level, for example, only to apply or to develop new application programs. Information on the respective applied sheet can be printed via a connected printer.

Further information about the GunPainter is available on request.
